Our live sessions at Dialog Studios showcase a different side of The AfterParty, with Andy and Hayley on vocals bringing a fresh dynamic to the line-up. Known for our high-energy rock and pop sets, we fancied switching gears and diving into some timeless classics and modern groove-driven hits. From the smooth soul of “Never Too Much” to contemporary pop reworks of “Don’t Start Now” and “About Damn Time,” these sessions highlight our musicianship, vocal harmonies, and a more refined sound. Recorded completely live - no backing tracks, no trickery.

With Hayley making her debut in The AfterParty family, there’s a new spark in the blend - soulful, powerful, and effortlessly stylish - giving these tracks a vibrant new feel while keeping the energy we’re known for.

Today was all about the daytime side of what we do.

We spent the day filming and recording our live setups for ceremonies, drinks receptions and cocktail hours and had we had it all. Keys, guitar, sax and some amazing vocals! Keeping it stripped back but still bringing the energy where it matters.

We’re excited to properly introduce our two new vocalists, Hayley and Heidi, who both were sounding right at home already.

Big shout to @royalvisualsuk and @bigfriendlyaudio for helping bring it all together. The footage is looking and sounding seriously strong already.

What a crazy busy week it’s been for us 🙌

We kicked things off on Friday at Clearwell Castle celebrating Ben & Sai in an incredible setting. Then straight into last night at Milton End for Dan & Anna, the energy last night was unmatched! 🥂

Huge thanks to both couples for having us be part of your big days - the energy, the crowds, the dance floors…everything was unreal 🤘🏼🎸

In between all of that, we’ve also been putting in some serious time behind the scenes in the studio working on new material and we’re really excited about what’s coming soon 👀

Sound limiters!
Answering your questions at HQ 🎥

Marcello talks about one of the most common concerns we hear from couples and venues - sound/noise limiters.

They can definitely be challenging, but there’s no point moaning about them. Many venues don’t actually have a choice and have to install them due to local regulations and neighbours!

The key is knowing how to work with them and finding the right solutions. For us, one great option is using an electric drum kit, which allows us to control the overall volume while still keeping the energy and feel of a live band.

With the right setup, you can stay within the venue’s limits and still have an amazing party and a full dance floor.

What a weekend of weddings 🎸

Here’s the lads at Clearwell Castle celebrating Amy & Joe’s big day and what a day it was.

Daytime piano setting the vibe for the drinks reception, a massive saxophone entrance bringing the wedding breakfast energy, then the full band taking it home in the evening.

We love playing at a venue with real musical pedigree - Clearwell isn’t just stunning, it’s got proper rock legend status. Back in the ’70s the castle’s recording/rehearsal space was a creative hideout for giants like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple.

Always special playing somewhere with history like that and what an AfterParty it was! Thank you to Amy & Joe for having us 🎸🔥
